Our Story
Humanizing through visibility.
The right fit for both sides.
Shinastra wasn't born in a boardroom. It was born from the frustration of a broken system. We believe that you aren't invisible—the system is just broken.
It started with a broken system.
Our founder, Sarah, saw the "Resume Black Hole" firsthand. Despite a decade of experience and a portfolio of high-impact projects, she saw how talent was treated like a ghost in the machine.
Applications went in, silence came out.
She realized the problem wasn't the talent—it was the signal. Traditional job boards were built for volume, not value. They rewarded keyword-stuffing instead of character, and automation over alignment.
Shinastra was built to fix that. We replaced the "Black Hole" with "The Stack"—a high-signal matching engine that treats people like people and companies like teams.
Built on mutual interest.
The principles that guide our matching engine
Radical Transparency
No black-box scoring. Matches are scored on skills, culture fit and logistics, and how much each one counts is spelled out in our Terms, so you can see how the system works.
Precision Signal
We score on about 50% skills, 30% culture fit and 20% logistics like pay and work location. It's about the whole person.
Mutual Opt-In
Matches only happen when both sides say 'yes'. That cuts down the firehose, and our reply-within-7-days rule is built to stop the ghosting.
